Amos
Name: Amos
Age: pup-adult (3rd/4th gen)
Gender: female
Breed: border collie
Parents: Nash and Darcy....they lived on the same farm and bred only to continue their line and good breeding
Siblings: Squeaks and Slade
Personality: (to be edited) She was at one point very boisterous, trusting, and free-spirited, as most collies are. While she continues to be very active, dedicated, hard worker, Amos has become-- through her "accident"--very quiet, meek, and submissive to others. She grew very attached to her siblings, and becomes painfully shy around all others, especially strangers.
History: Born on a farm in far-northern Canada, Amos lived and grew happily with her siblings, though they were mostly ignored by their parents. Such was the way the intense work ethic forced the family to be alienated from one another. Still, Amos was quite content there-- that is, until another young collie, Roscoe, was brought to the farm a few years later. Amos, then 3, was intended to be a mate for this dog, and, growing up knowing little other than obligation and work, she didn't mind.
At first the two got along well enough, but soon, unknown to Amos, Roscoe's eyes began to wander. Naturally, his first thoughts were of conquesting Slade, but before that could happen, a strange red female turned up on the farm with her male friend--apparently runaways of some sort. Roscoe immediately desired the pretty female the second he spotted her, but before he could satisfy himself, Amos also saw her and introduced herself. His chance gone, Roscoe became increasingly irritated with his little mate.
Later on, the object of his lust situated herself with Roscoe's rival, Squeaks, which enraged Roscoe, allowing his true cold nature came out. In time he became violent, and at one point, completely taking Amos by surprise when she forgot to bring the sheep in out of the rain, he viciously mauled her in his culminating rage. Amos was sent away to a different farm because of her acquired imperfections--blindness and partial loss of hearing in her one ear--which were unacceptable for the high standards of the farm she had lived on her whole life.
She never found out about her old mate's true intentions, but Amos was still left with painful scars for life.
Other: Yeah, I know it's a cliche, but she IS blind in her one eye. She was mostly attacked near her face, poor gal, hence the gouged eye.
Lavender/Violet scarf.
