Topher
Name: Topher. Auntie T to her kids.
Breed: Norwegian Elkhound
Gender: female
Age: Well, she's not exactly a spring chicken, having been in the business for quite a while. x) However, she likes to pretend she's still a femme fatale (and in a way, she is xP).
Personality: She's syrupy and smothering to her kids to make them love and trust her. It doesn't actually work, so she uses implied threats to make them train or do whatever (and really, Topher is pretty damn intimidating when she is crossed). She is sadistic and cruel, not caring about her kid's feelings at all. She is only after material possessions and pleasure, and feels no guilt whatsoever in stepping over anyone to get what she wants. She enjoys seducing males, but generally they are too scared by her(or just flat out turned off by her) for her to be successful.
History: Topher has been in the puppy-mill-trafficking business for years. She has many networking connections and is generally the top dog in her field. If she sees potential in a puppy for fighting, or thinks they're a particularity rare breed, they become her "favorites" and she keeps them in tip-top condition to pawn them off for a profit. All the puppies believe they are going to get a nice home with children to play with, and whenever Topher finds them this "home" she tells them that she's found a perfect place for them (which usually just means them getting sold off for x purpose). The pups then happily leave with "Auntie T" to their new home, and all other pups strive to behave so they can get a good home as well.
All pups are thrown the old "found a perfect place" line when their time comes, unless they are particularly worthless or if they just piss Topher off. Then she tells them the one thing no pup wants to hear--they're being "relocated". Not one pup that has been "relocated" has ever been seen again, and this is the number one fate that all the pups are terrified of. They don't know exactly what will happen, but judging by "Auntie T's" ice-cold demeanor when the topic comes up, it cannot possibly be good.
