Cheyenne
Headshot by Rush
Name: Cheyenne (shy*ann)
Age: (2nd gen)
Gender: Female
Breed: 10/24 collie, 7/24 husky, 4/24 australian sheepdog, 3/24 wolf
Status: owned by Jeremy "Jem" Miller
Parents: Bam-Bam and Farley
Mate: Fly Boy
Pups: Beagle, Avian, Amelia, Candace, Fletcher, Zephyr and Red Barron(c)Rush+WWM
Personality: Down-to-earth, sarcastic, not easily excited, a bit on the morose side and pessimistic about life, sensible and intelligent, quiet but not at all shy or reserved and will willingly express her feelings(usually anger) at any time.
Likes: Her friends(only when they aren't being obnoxious), when her owner is safe at home, walking around town.
Dislikes: Her enemies, when Buck is anywhere near her, when Jeremy is gone.
History:
Adopted some three months after her birth by a Native Inuit named Jeremy Miller, Cheyenne was meant to provide company for the lonely fisherman, whose wife and son had both tragically drowned in a frozen lake a few years earlier. Cheyenne absolutely adores her master, but learned to despise his boss, Mr. Dixon, for making him leave every summer on fishing excursions. While she is left alone for the summer in Nome she still has all her friends to keep her company, but that also means that Buck, Mr. Dixon's large and cocky doberman, also gets left behind. Cheyenne particularly loathes this dog; he has the obnoxious idea that Cheyenne will be at his "booty-call" until the day he dies.
One summer while Jem is on a fishing trip, his boat capsizes and he starts to drown. The men with him call the coast guard, and a rescue dog named Fly Boy is sent into the lake to save Jeremy from drowning. Cheyenne is so grateful that she follows Fly Boy around town while he stays. The two fall in love and become mates, even if Fly Boy's job often demands that he be away in the mountains and on the coast to work. Jem keeps in touch with Fly Boy's handlers so Cheyenne can see her mate more often.
While Fly Boy is on a mission, Cheyenne gives birth to a healthy litter of puppies. She becomes engrossed in her family, and even her best friend Kivalina falls to the bottom of her list.
