Personality: Gloomy, Docile, has a voice that is deep and gruff. He keeps his history to himself and pushes any thoughts of his past out of his mind. He is afraid of large machines. London is somewhat a sadist, and he enjoys others pain. Not afraid of death but fears torture. London takes pride in what he does and often glares at others who stare at his disability.
History: When he was born his mother’s master didn’t want her to have pups so he took London and his siblings and threw them in a trade shack's dumpster (they were 6 weeks old). They cried for days and were weaker than ever. London watched his 3 sisters die. He and his 2 brothers were found on the third day by a shorter woman with curly brown hair. She turned them to the rescue center. They tried to bring them back to health but his weaker brother died on the first night that they there. London and his brother (Fly Boy) grew up in the kennel they lived there and at multiple foster homes for 2 ½ years. Fly Boy was then found by a search and rescue officer and was adopted, leaving London behind forever. London lived in 4 more foster homes until someone in Willow, Alaska wanted him.
London was brought over there by sled dogs he was tied behind the sled and had to run beside or behind it. The weather made London's fur slightly wavy and gruff looking. London's master was a nice young lady who wanted a dog to keep her company when she climbed mountains. London was also used to help defend her incase she crossed paths with any dangerous animals. He eventually did end up chasing a few bears away. No violent meetings happened. London was good at bluffing so the bears didnt wish to fight him. London loved his master and would defend her with his life. After seeing what London was capable off Claire (his master) rented him out to her cousins for bear hunting from time to time. London was perfect for the job. Always cornering the bear and never wrecking the hide.
While London was at Claire's uncle's camp Claire decided to go on a hike up the mountan behind it. It wasnt too far and she would be back before the men came home so she had plenty of time to make everyone supper. London went hunting but a storm rolled in and everyone headed back to camp early but Claire wasn't there. Hours passed by and her uncle and London grew anxious. Finally they went on a small search for her. They found one of her gloves and sent out the hunting dogs to look for her scent. London charged up the mountain. Where could she be? He grew frantic. The wind was harsh and you could barely see your hands in front of you. The men called off the search and decided to go back in the morning. London stayed behind ignoring any call for him to come back.
London searched and searched and he eventually found Claire! She was laying on the snow shivering. He layed on top of her using his fur as a blanket. Claire slowly drifted off into a deep sleep and never woke up. In the morning London nudged her and nudged her.... but she was gone.
London became numb inside. His whole purpose in life was to protect her and he failed.
Eventually the other bear hounds came charging and howling up the hill. The noise caused an avalanche. This hid everything under a deadly layer of snow, forever losing Claire's body. London's back legs ended up being pinned between the snow and a rock. He is eventually found by Claire's uncle thinking that London had found Claire in the night. London's back legs eventually had to be removed by a veterinarian.
London has ever since been marked as an outcast by other dogs, wheeling around on his replacement back legs.
