Buck
Name: Buck
Age: (2nd gen)
Gender: Male
Breed: Doberman
Status: Owned; prized fighter
Parents: Raef and Nefertiti
Siblings: John, Missy Jo, Sam(c)diego, and 4 others
Half Sibling(s): Trinket(c)Zappy, Toben(c)Luckyshamrock, Tinker(c)MishaN, Incabus(c)MishaN, Roulette(c)Lone
Mate: Nope.
He wants to be a stud dog(and in fact has mated with several unknown females before), but his master thinks that the ladies would be too distracting for his prized fighter.
He lusts after Cheyenne, and mated with one of his favorites--Litonya--to produce a few pups. Buck recently secured himself a constant lady-friend, Heartbreak.
(Known) Pups:
With Litonya: Kyran and Damian
Personality: Unlike his sensible, good-natured brother, Buck is a demanding, egotistical tyrant. He gets angry very easily, and is quick to physically fight anyone. He is a brash talker and thinker, always having something utterly rude or disgusting to say. His secret life keeps him pretty busy though(much to everyone's relief), but even out of the dog ring he picks fights often and doesn't stop until he wins. He doesn't try to sugar-coat his intentions with females--sleep with him or don't. Otherwise(like his father), he could care less about their well-being, or anyone else. He has a soft-spot for his brother, but doesn't like his nephew Toby, thinking of him as a weak sissy. He's a bit 'kinder' to his sassy niece, Iris, though.
Likes: Females; his brother; Cheyenne and being around, about, and with her; fighting other dogs(in the ring or out); winning; his master; showing of his muscular physique
Dislikes: Fly Boy; his brother (love-hate relationship); losing under any circumstances; Toby (its more like 'I'm so embarrassed I'm related to you'); males. Competition.
History:
Buck's mother and subsequent father were both part of the breeding black market. His father had several more litters and then died in the ring. His mother was a beauty, coming from a long line of near-perfect specimens, but she never coddled her children and kept herself disconnected and aloof from them. When Buck's brother, John, and himself were bought together to be used as fighting dogs he felt nothing in leaving his parents or his home; Buck had been raised well by the ring standards, and grew an impenetrable emotional hide.
However, the men in charge who bought the two brothers only wanted Buck, whose looks were constant with that of a true, aggressive, fighting Doberman. John, with his unseemly blue baby eyes, did live up to the ring handler's high standards, so he was sent along with the other rejected puppies to a shop-keeper who was in on the scandal and and promptly sold the pups.
Buck himself was bought by a rich man who ran a fishing company. He is very proud of Buck and decides to keep him as a house-dog as well as a (secret)champion fighting dog. Despite being separated early on, Buck sees his brother often, as the junkyard John works at is only a few blocks away from Buck's house. They are quite close, but they go through rifts depending on Buck's mood.
Through John he meets snarky Cheyenne, who Buck finds intriguing and attractive. He pursues her from time to time, always to get snapped at. Around the time Cheyenne found herself a mate, Buck sought a little fun with Litonya, and three months later had two healthy sons to show for it. However, their mother doesn't take care of them, and Buck is too proud to let his progeny die off. Buck let's the boys, Damian and Kyran, live on the street near his house, bringing them scraps and other comforts. Buck probably wouldn't bother if they were girls, but....
John had also settled down with a girl and had two kids of his own. Buck scoffed at the small litter and the one scrawny male (Toby). Despite himself though, he found himself amused by the spirited young female--Iris. She was actually sold back to Buck's owner; her fluffy neck fur and doberman genes might mean fierce skill as well as armor. He took the young girl under his wing, and along with his sons, raised the three, though separately. Iris grew into his spitting image, but caught herself mid-transformation and ran off. Buck let it slide, and forgot about his niece.
Later on he grows bored, and takes on another project-- Great Dane male known as Chauncy. The two become thick as thieves, with Buck constantly feeding the other nasty ideas and the like. Buck's womanizing ways rub off on Chuncy, and soon Buck encourages him to make a move on a young female of the same breed, a perfect Great Dane owned by a wealthy friend of both Chauncy's and Buck's owners.
With Chauncy somewhat distracted by his conquests, Buck turns his attention back to his master's ring, where he notices a new rising star, a stocky but skilled young female. It turns out that the young girl, Taelyn, is actually Buck's niece through his sister Missy Jo, and, although normally aloof towards "useless" females, he immediately thought back to his failed project in Iris and decided to do a "good deed" and take on his other "destitute niece", teaching her in his own ways and style. Mostly he just mentors her for fun though--he does not see her as a threat at all.
