Colette
Name: Colette (nicknamed Cole, she prefers this.)
Breed: Collie /Husky /Blue Heeler
Gender: Female (unfixed)
Status: Owned
Parents: Derrek and Yasmine
Siblings: Blue
Mate: Kangee
Pups: Tripp, Whip, Gyp, Zip, Pip, and Kipp.
Likes: Her family, pups, and the farm life.
Dislikes: Her disabilities, being alone, when everyone is gone working.
Personality: Colette is a spunky dog; she is always full of energy. She almost never seems to stop talking, and hates to be told not to. Cole is headstrong, and hates doing things ‘by the book.’ She tends to do whatever she wants, or she thinks she should do. Colette, when mad, can be stuck up and feisty, not afraid to snap at you. Listen and learns well, oddly. Is easily bothered, and will hold a grudge. Colette is pretty calm about her disabilities and mainly worries about others getting hurt.
History: Born between Yasmine and Derrek, she never knew her father. She was adopted off early from her mother and her brother, Blue.
Colette was bought into hunting family, where she was trained to be a hunting dog. She had no other dogs to talk too out of town, seeing as she was never brought there anyway. On one of her hunting trips, she noticed a dog to the farm next to hers and to distracted and went to meet him. They hit it off and she visit Kangee the most she could.
Colette slipped up on one of the trips, and got her leg stuck in a trap. With a broken leg, she was kept in the house till it was better. Colette’s leg never healed properly and she walks with a limp.
She is never worked now, and her owners are looking to breed her for more hunting dogs, but Colette spends her time over watching Kangee work or talking to him, becoming closer or closer. They became mates, and soon had a litter of six. Her owner was ecstatic, and got to train the 5 males in the litter as soon as he could. While her daughter was kept to keep her company, so she spent her time with Whip and Kangee.
Wanting more money, their owner bought a few farm animals, and used Whip to herd them. While watching her now, yearling of a daughter, one of the cattle charged at Whip, who dodged it, and Colette, being slow from her limp was hit, in her head. When their owner returned, he was frightened to find Colette on the ground, and blood from her face. He took her into town immediately, and she had her left eye removed and shut.
Colette stayed in solitude for a few days, but after seeing that her family fully supported her, she learnt to deal with it.
Other: Colette’s left eye is permantly shut, and wears a dark brown collar.
