Milo
Name: Milo (Mi-as in 'eye'- loh)
Age: 4 (2nd gen)
Gender: Male
Breed: 1/2 husky 1/2 blue heeler mix
Mate/ Crush: Alissa(c)Blue Eyes
Ex Mate: Had a thing with Litonya. (Long before he met Alissa)
Pups:
With Litonya: Wes, Kangee and Nathan
With Alissa: Ian, Louie, and Ridley
Personality: Milo is somewhat snobbish and proud, but is also very sensitive, flirtatious and romantic. He can be selfish with possessions, but despite this always tries to help out when others are in need. He has a thick head and a stubborn attitude and usually tries to steal the spotlight 99% of the time.
Likes: attention, Alissa, herding, summer, open spaces
Dislikes: sled-racing, being ignored for any reason, winter, being kept indoors. (he is also claustrophobic, so tight spaces too.)
History:
Milo's father was owned by an amateur sled racer. He wasn't exactly a high-performance sled dog and after an incident than ended his racing career her was shipped without a second thought to Texas, where he met the blue heeler Aussie. After working together out in the fields herding livestock they became good friends and soon fell in love, having three pups the next year.
The rancher's owner's brother was in fact a sled racer up in Canada and saw Milo's potential. He was bought off from the ranch and sent to Canada, where he trained for two years to be a champ sled dog. However, Milo's passion was herding, as he had learned to love it when he lived on the ranch back in Texas with his parents. His performance suffered due to poor morale and he was shipped to Alaska, the home of his forefathers.
He was bought by an elk rancher who re-introduced him to herding where Milo's true potential and talent was unlocked. The ranch is not that far from town, and Milo soon became popular around town. He had a steady girlfriend for a few months, but she left him when she found she was pregnant. She(Litonya. surprise, surprise) never bothered to mention that to him, so Milo never knew about the pups.
A while later, Milo met Alissa when he was almost three years old. Their personalities are so different that not many would expect attraction between them, but he was genuinely interested in the hesitant female, and Milo tries to impress her every time he's in town, no matter what, and somehow always makes the time for her. He is constantly trying to bring her out of her shell to enjoy life to it's fullest.
When the two eventually have kids, Milo becomes ecstatic. He is very proud of his three children, even if they rove freely from the farm into town and don't see their father as often as they used to (and have a host of other issues that Milo tuns a blind eye to). Milo's owners made herders out of his sons, Ian and Louie, but his daughter Ridley was too disobedient. They bought another heeler mix, Adeaze, to help out. Milo liked the sunny younger dog, but made it clear he was in charge. He never finds out that Adeaze is actually his granddaughter, by a son he had with Litonya long ago.
Other: Still speaks with a slight Texan accent.
Litonya's "mate", Fang, used to work on the farm with Milo. However, the other dog was bought off as his and Litonya's pup experiment failed--Milo maybe felt a little bitter seeing his boss canoodle with his first girlfriend, but after Fang left, Milo forgot about him and Litonya completely. Now Milo is the top dog on the ranch, taking Fang's place.
