History:
Patches was born as a son to Oscar; an affable male Australian shepherd; and Catalina; an intelligent female English setter. As a pup, Patches was always digging deeper for adventure every day, searching far and wide to see what he could find.
When he was able to get adopted by a human, he was chosen by a love able girl who had a fluffy Persian cat named Fluffy (how creative),]. But with Patches personality, he couldn't always, "Sit, Stay, be a good dog," he had to live the life of adventure he had always dreamed of his whole life. So when he had a chance, he was going to take off, but never succeeded. But one night, he decided it would be the night he would leave, whether he was going to like it or not.
Eventually he did and he liked the great outdoors even though he does sort of fear it in a way. Despite that he leaves the home for good and goes out exploring.
During that time he ran into a wolf Dalmatian mix named, Nura. She also left her home for the wild and was also trying to get used to the outdoor life. She and him stuck together for a bit, talking while Patches started to like this girl. She was spunky yet somehow had a kindness to her which Patches liked. They began speaking on a regular basis until she brought another dog with her.
The grayish dog was also a wolf Dalmatian mix named, Texas. At first, Patches thought she was male and was surprised to find she was actually a female. Patches doesn't know that Nura and Texas are cousins but he does enjoy seeing them play fight. He never thought girls would be so rough and dirty in the outdoors as much as males were. Texas’s presence never annoyed Patches but he finds it strange that she stammers and becomes shy while talking to him. (Oblivious to Texas’s crush on him xD)
Eventually Patches found a part of town where he grew comfortable with. He didn't see Nura or Texas as much (which bothered him since he was sort of lonely by himself.) But they did come around sometimes. Patches soon developed a fear of Dobermans after witnessing 2 of them pass by and eye him (Damian and Kyran) From there on out he sought for a buddy to have with him but could never find one who would stick. That all changed when 2 young males came around and looked at him strangely. These two were, Mac and Dandle, good friends who hang out frequently.
Patches didn't know what to think of the two as they looked at him funny. They proceeded to ask why he was alone. Dandle was concerned for the young male while Mac tried to explain him ‘his ways’ of handling outdoor life. This annoyed Patches and told him to ‘buzz off’ and leave him alone, knowing what he is doing. Mac was a leader but a wimpy one and didn't admit it while Patches was a leader who had a voice and knew how to use it.
They’re personalities clash a lot but surprisingly they become sort of ‘friends’ because of this. Dandle on the other hand, was a extremely wimpy male who worried a lot but had the smarts that Mac and Patches didn't quite have. Patched always picked on the brown male for this which Dandle responded to not really liking being around him but deals with it so he can hang with Mac.
Finally he made friends, sort of. This helped him defend his ‘turf’ better, even tho it really wasn't his territory he likes to say it is. Most dogs ignore him until one day while Patches was around, a female named, Lizzie was walking through his ‘territory’…Patches showed up abruptly in front of her and claimed the street she was on 'his turf', and basically told her to beat it. The argued pretty much the whole time, but Kangee walked by at that moment. To seem happy without him, Lizzie quickly pretended that she and Patches were in love (nuzzling, cuddling, etc.) Patches was dumbfounded at first, and kept a slightly flushed, blank face until Kangee disappeared, then snapped to and started pestering Lizzie to get lost and to quit being so weird and clingy. Stubborn Lizzie decided that Patches would be her re-bound boyfriend, though he wasn't interested at all (and Liz herself only wanted to use him for her own selfish purposes). Eventually though, she started to develop real affection for Patches.
While debating what to think of this girl, Nura and Texas come around to say hi, which Patches immediately leaves Lizzie’s side (during an argument or whatnot) to go to Nura’s side and be this ordinary love-struck boy. Though, Nura has no interest in Patches in that way what-so-ever. She has her sights on Dappy. Mac and Dandle inform the boy that he will never have a chance, which aggravates the poor boy to not give up. Lizzie also notices this interest and isn’t quite happy about it.
I’d say Patches also likes Lizzie but it takes longer for him to come to terms with it in his mind. Liz has to find a way to make him stop liking Nura for now xD
Due to him running into Liz more and more (unknown to her using him in attempt to make Kangee jealous), he sees her brother, Rambo. He was stuck with wonder at the muscular male. He seemed to know what he’s doing. He was the definition of manly. While using Rambo as an example of how manly he is (or more like WISHES he is) during a argument with Lizzie, she simply laughed in his face (Thinking of the comparison like a 'How lame and wimpy I am compared to that guy') while he gave her a glare, wondering why she would question his ways. ‘What do you know anyway?’ he spat back at her which Lizzie responded by laughing harder. Taking his challenge, She got up and marched right up Rambo to hug him.
Patches didn't understand this but it annoyed him. What does she think shes doing hugging someone like that? Does she have some sort of crush on him? Plus why did this gesture bother him so much? Was it jealously? He quickly shrugged it off when Rambo hugged her back, smiling.
Lizzie returned with the male beside her. She looked that the tall male with joy and back at Patches with a mocking grin. Patches looked up at Rambo (hurting his neck) and stammered out a ‘U-uh hey…” Liz proceeded to laugh at him which aggravated Patches once more. Liz introduced Rambo as her big bro which Patches was shocked to hear. By this statement would ultimately mean, she has won the argument which lead annoyed Patches to no end, especially since she has a such a cool brother and he doesn't.
