Rizzo was always very gregarious and popular around town. Her owners, particuarily her mistress, were smitten with her perky mannerisms and loved her to death, and were very protective of her.
As a pup, Rizzo often snuck out of her house to spend time with her older sister, Cheyenne. When Cheyenne eca epregnant and had several pups, Rizz had no one to spend time with because Cheyenne was consumed in her infant children.
While lazing around one day, she noticed another pup her age who she had seen around town before wandering all alone. Excited at the prospect of some company, she approached him. The other dog just brushed her off. Unfased, Rizz followed him, sensing something was wrong. Keeping the pup company in his sadness, Rizz tried to change the subject. She learned that his name was Termite, which Rizzo found odd. After asking about his weird name, Termite got deffensive and Rizz got upset, after which he promptly left.
The next day Rizzo felt even more gloomy than usuall, until she saw a familiar face sitting under the same tree where they had met: Termite had come back. Rizzo approached solomnly. 'Sorry....' She whispered, boldly laying her head on top of Teremites. Immediatly switching the topic to something cherier, Rizzo determindly told him that he would be called 'Parker' from now on. Parker smiled, and for the first time it didn't seem forced.

While Rizzo and Parker grew closer, her brother Goldrush found out who she had been hanging around with. Knowing Parker's terrible father, Goldrush becomes way overprotective of his little sister and tells Rizzo not to see Parker any longer. Stubborn as ever, Rizz continues to sectetly see Parker, that is, until a terrible accident befalls her family. Goldrush becomes crippled in the mines he works in, leaving Rizzo guilty as ever for having disregarded him. Rizzo starts to spend time with her ailing brother, blurting out that she had gine against Goldrush's wishes and had continued to see Parker. Torn between her brother and Parker, who she was beginning to fall in love with, Rizzo becmes overwhelmed by the emotions of guilt and love and a depresssion takes over her personality.
After a time, both Cheyenne and Goldrush notice Rizzo's subdued and sad new nature and wonder what the problem is. Goldrush knows though--he realizes that Rizzo may have already fallen for Parker. He confronts Rizz one day as she is visiting, simply looking at her with a concerned yet sheepish expression and telling her to be carefull, and not to get hurt.
**
After Rizzo feels freedom to be with Parker after gaining her brother's blessings, she and Parker happily couple up and start a family.
Their first litter of two girls and a boy was healthy and happy. They were loved by Rizzo and Parker to no end. Trying for more children, Rizzo became pregnant again. This time, there were many complications of unknown origins. It wasn't until after the pups were born that the problem was discovered. Rizzo had given birth to one healthy pup, and a pair of conjoined twins.
Ater the twins were born, Rizzo became exhausted, pretty broken for lack of better words. Her old spirit left. giving birth to the twins aging her more than anything. The realization that she would soon loose her fragile daughters, along with not being able to walk due to the arduous birthing proccess, further depressed her.
Rizzo took comfort in Ajay, her son from the second litter, after the twins die of expected complications. She clung to him as the only survivor of her last litter, and besides becomes ashamed of herself towards Parker for having invalid pups. While her family still loves Rizzo, she is permanently scarred by the trauma of having and loosing her youngest daughters.
