Likes: Stagg, Yerik, Brandy, Aesop, playing, laughter
Dislikes: Males, Shailene, death, gunshots, water, fire, being alone, the wheelbarrel, fighting
Fears: Hardly anything she doesn’t care about her own life she would die for those she cares for. But she is afraid of water and fire, and the sound of a gunshot because it often means death for those in the fighting business.
History: She was one of the choice pups, not to small and had a fighting spirit about her. The only problem was that she was a female. So when a man heard that one of his friends was selling pups of his choice dogs and instantly the man saw the tan and blue dog, but then he found out she was a female. He decided to use her to fight anyway maybe she will be good if he trained her right and if she was one of the good ones maybe she could have a few litters of pups. She left her siblings who were in the small cramped crate.
She was taken to a barn that smelled of mold and wet dogs. It was very dark and the melted snow of summer seeped through the roof and formed large puddles. Hart was put in a pen with three other young dogs. Hart categorized them from the largest threat to the least amount of threat. The one on top of that list looked to be the oldest and was a Cane Corso Mastiff. He was huge and his grey fur shimmered in the dim light. Part of his ear was chewed off and he had a distant stare. His name was Aesop, and Hart thought the two of them would probably get along very well. The next was a male was a Samoyed who appeared to be crazy he would run from one end of the cage and then to the other speaking in a language that Hart did not understand, but would later learn that it was Russian and she would learn it soon enough. Aesop introduced him as Yerik. The last was one that she knew would get on her nerves it was a bouncy overly excited female who introduced herself as soon as Hart hit the floor. Brandy was her name and when she first saw Hart she bounded up and went skidding right into Hart and they ended up nose to nose. Hart growled but the little mix giggled.
Hart found out that they were to be beaten and trained into vigorous merciless fighting dogs. Hart grew to love her pen mates even Brandy though she neglected to show it. They were tightly knitted and were hardly separable. But as they grew they learned that they could not always be together. They heard the older dogs leave and never come back and knew that might be one of them someday. They heard the weeping of friends when they never came back.
And all too soon a man walked in and the chorus of barking rose pleading to be set free. One of them was to be sold whether it be for the better or for the worse. The man stopped at their pen. "Is this the one you were talking about?" His voice asked. The mid-teen pups huddled in a shield they knew they were talking about Brandy. Their master went in there and beat the dogs off many went unconscious including Hart herself. When they woke she was long gone. It was a sad day for the pups but none wept.
Hart grew and she turned into a pretty young female who was slightly stocky and had scars run down parts of her body. She had noticed that her friends had changed to. Aesop was large and muscular, deep scars ran down his face. Yerik was less nervous but had a terribly messed up face. His eye was torn and the muscle around it sagged over his eye. He had stubs on the top of his head that weren't worthy to be called ears but he could still hear with them.
Her friends acted differently around her and they were often arguing and smiling at her. This made Hart feel important. She liked it at first until the arguing grew into fighting which grew into them hating each other. Hart tried her hardest to bring them together. But she found out their intentions and what they wanted from her. She was disgusted they all saw the females that were used for breeding, one of them came out of there with her back legs torn off. The pups had heard her screams and the master tried to save her but it was useless.
Hart could never go through that.
The men returned and Hart was moved to a new pen but during the process Yerik and Aesop came to her defense. Yerik was beaten to death by their master. That was the first day that Hart cried she howled to the heavens and prayed that his soul would be alright. She could also hear Aesop cry but it was muffled by the other dogs barking.
Hart was brought to her first fight and just barely won, the next fight was easy the male refused to fight a female and gladly let her take his life. She cried after every fight and prayed for every dog. One day she saw the wheel barrel in which they carry their dead in and in there was Aesop's body. Apparently one of the wooden platforms where the hold the females wasn't put on right and she turned on Aesop and killed him.
Hart mourned for many days, she was all alone now. At one of her fights she was pinned against another female. The female had this odd fighting style and would prance around and wag her tail as if she had no idea she could die. This angered Hart more, and then the female charged right into her and giggled uncontrollably. Brandy!
Hart couldn't do it she couldn't kill her last friend she couldn't kill the last part of who she used to be. Hart raised her neck to her opponent and closed her eyes waiting for it to be over, but that didn't happen. Hart looked down at her friend and was captivated by her eyes. She still had the kindness to them. Brandy looked so weak and fragile, Hart felt something tingle in her stomach.
Other: The reason Hart dislikes Shailene is the fact that she doesn't love her father and that ruined Hart's dreams of having a happy family when she was a pup. Well everyone made the blue and tan pup a male and the mostly peach one a female so I decided to switch it up 8D
