Vivian
Name: Vivian. Viv or Vivi/Vivy for short
Age: young teen(slightly younger than Damian and Kyran) (4th gen)
Gender: female
Breed: 1/2 Kishu Inu, 1/2 saluki-dalmation mix(?)
Parents: Cora and Don
Siblings: A few.. I'll list her full-siblings later.
Personality: Despite the fact that Viv had been treated like crap for most of her pup-hod, she's a very easy-going, plain girl. She doesn't expect much from others and is entirely non-judgmental; she would be friends with someone even if she knew their deepest, darkest, most unpleasant secrets, but she won't keep anyone around who jeopardizes her safety or well-being. (Rule of the street: look out for Numero Uno first) Vivian didn't survive on her own for so long being a softie, and she can be strict and serious when threatened. She has almost supernaturally-good street instincts, and can maneuver easily around.
Crush: That's the mystery isn't it...?
History:
Vivian had been on the streets for as long as her memories go back. Her parents aren't really parents at all, and of course they didn't want her. Viv was ignored for most of her life, but she managed to fend for herself well enough, getting in someone's face if they tried anything on her.
She met Damian and Kyran when she was still very young. The two boys didn't think she was any real beauty, but she was a girl after all, and initially went after her just for the "bird and bees" purpose. Vivian didn't take their crap though---she ignored every advance. Still, she enjoyed the two boys. They made her feel needed, considering the boys had practically no street sense, being partially raised by their daddy. Viv took the role as matron of the small pod, caring for and helping the boys when they get in trouble. Damian thinks she's 'his girl'---Viv just smiled and shakes her head.
They live in this way for a while, until the atmosphere in the pseudo-family drastically changes overnight.
Vivian always found Kyran easier to talk to than Damian, but still she almost always knew whenever something bothered either of the brothers. The fact that Damian's mood radically changed from the pompous loud-mouth she knew into an edgy psycho worried her to no end; even Kyran could give no explanation for his brother's sudden shift in demeanor. At first Vivian considered that Damian was actually jealous of the closeness between her and Kyran. So, for a while, she kept her distance from both boys.
This turned out to be a huge mistake.
Damian starts dating a girl--Heaven--who spells out "trouble" right from the start. The pair get into all sorts of mischief even Kyran was shocked to hear about. Once Vivian can't stand the relationship any longer, she goes to Kyran and asks him to help her break Damian and Heaven up.
That same night though--the second after Vivian speaks more than a sentence to Kyran in several weeks--disaster breaks loose: an unearthly, shrill whine of terror rips through the night air, and Vivian and Kyran go to investigate. To their horror, the source is a scrawny dog they'd seen around town--harmless and goofy, really--being mercilessly ripped apart by none other than Damian himself...and Heaven watching mirthfully from the shadows.
In a second both Vivian and Kyran and upon Damian, trying to pry the crazed dog off the other. The plan backfires: Damian turns on his brother and friend, blindly attacking them. It is clear to Vivian which brother is beyond hope, so she salvages Kyran and helps him to the human doctor's home.
By this time Vivian has decided that she's had enough of both brothers. She meets Kyran while he was let out for exercise at the clinic he ended up at, and some of her reserve falters on seeing his lost look. Nevertheless, she does not cave, telling him the fate of the dog Damian had attacked (dead), and that Damian himself had disappeared, along with his good-for-nothing girlfriend. With a last parting apology, she departs from his life forever, sporting physical and emotional scars of her own.
Other: She disapproves of most of what the boys do (stealing, teasing, etc), but she only butts in on occasion.
