He doesn't socialize easily because he is so bashful, but he has his good moments and is generally well-liked. Still, he is very unsure about popularity and feelings and such. When he does get close to anyone, they find he is an honest, accepting, steadfast friend.
Bart has small crushes on a few of his friends, possibly just because they spent time talking to him. For now he's a tad too insecure to make anything of it.
History:
Bart was extremely shy as a pup to the point where other boys, like A.J., bullied him. Virtually shunned by the males, Bart was left to befriend the female pups around town, which is how he became acquainted with Jazz, Abigale, Junie, and Lacey. They were all close in their youth, but drifted apart as time went on. However, when Bart was a year or two older, he met up with his old friends again, completely by chance, and found his old puppy-crushes were still present for each girl, and even more frightening for Bart, it seemed his friends returned his affection as well.
After a while, Bart's insecurity and fear of commitment forced him to be more honest with himself: he was not a "ladies' man" type, and he certainly wouldn't string along his best friends forever.
Since the five friends were pups, Bart found the brown female, Jazz, the hardest to get close to, and knew that though she never said anything, she felt the most left-out among the group, as the other girls constantly vied for Bart's attentions. Jazz never gave him any reason that she might like him, and for that reason Bart grew the most respect and affection for her. After (finally) realizing his true feelings, Bart admitted himself to Jazz and found out that she felt the same way.
The two mated later on and have a happy life with their children--but after keeping their hopes up for so long and then abandoning them, Bart ended up losing his friendship with Lacey, Junie, and Abi.
Other: Wears a very thin, light blue collar.
Voice: Tate Donovan (Hercules, anyone?)
