Dislikes: Mornings, change, rain, large groups, crying, low blows
Personality: Recalcitrant, bullheaded, strong and willful. Stubborn as a mule and dislikes anyones oppinion but his own. He doesn't like change and new dogs around town makes his hair stand on end. Barolo is very unsocial and is kind of a smart-ass to others. He is also a bit touchy, often goes off on his own when he is in a mood. Barolo keeps his buisness to himself and ignores his adoring and loving family, though without their love Barolo would crumble into a big emotional heap. He is a bit of a trouble maker and is opposed to everything. In his group of friends he is the leader as Barolo is the strongest. He is always pushing himself to stay in top physical condition. Loves to push others down and keep them down though he is always a fair fighter in his scuffles.
History: Barolo was born along with his two siblings and loving parents. He had a great childhood he was quickly adopted and made friends at an early age. Molly Faye (sorta friends), Static, and Flamingo. As Bro grew him and Molly Faye grew apart as he was showing dominant flashes. Flamingo was manipulative and often competed with MF for attention. Barolo granted Flamingo all the attention she wanted when they started dating.
Their relationship was a pathetic one to say the least. Barolo and Flamingo often found themselves arguing and planning against eachother and yet they couldn't help but feel an odd attraction for the other. Maybe it was the dominant factor that ran through their blood. Wolf genes made Barolo have a few ticks in his behavior and personality. While in Flamingo's case she was born to a long line of champion dog figting bloodlines, only to be smuggled away from her destiny in the ring.
Static was the vulgar artist of the group, he was more openly sensitive about things and had a colorful vocabuary. Barolo used him as a chew toy from time to time and Static was often found with bloody bitemarks down his back. Static and Dae had an odd friendship as Static was squirly and would pick fights with many of Nome's dogs. Static's family also had their time in the dog fighting ring.
The trio were often called 'Ring Rats' as a joke about their bloodlines. The group took the name with pride. They joined a dog fighting group, ran by dogs eventually when they were older and cockier. At first Barolo wouldn't let his friends fight, his large body and thick neck fur gave him an advantage in the ring as opposed to his dobbie cross friends. The object of this fighting was to win girls, territory, or just to settle disputes. Bro didn't have any turf to bet as he wasn't part of any real gang and he had a master. So he bet Flamingo... He lost. He lost her.
After that fight against Mindy, a terrier like female, Flamingo didn't come back not for days and when she did she ignored Baralo and only really talked to Static. Flamingo was sad and angry. Bro appologized but wasn't able to get her to come back around. Baralo left the group then, he couldn't take it seeing his girl all sad because of him. This tore him up inside. He ran into trees on purpose trying to get the images of her out of his head. Molly Faye noticed her forelorn friend from her childhood.
Faye comforted Barolo and they talked. He found the nerdy female to be charming and she had beautiful violet eyes that reminded him of the summers they spent playing by the old pond in his backyard. He eventually had to go home but Barolo made sure to invite her to chase frogs sometime. It was a silly thing to ask but he knew it would bring back old memories. As the week went on Barolo lost hope that Faye would have any interest in him.
On the Monday of the next week Molly Faye did show up. Barolo couldn't help but notice how beautiful she had become. Her russet hair spiked up and showed off her eyes that shimmered the pond's reflection. Catching frogs became a lot more than just catching frogs. He would purposely slip so that Faye would trip and land on him. Their flirting became a lot more heated as the day went on. Faye finally after blushing for hours on end suggested to go on a jog. They went down the little path of Barolo's backyard. The were jogging slowly and unconsciously kept scooting closer to one another on corners until Bro tripped this time on accident.
Barolo was mad for being such an idiot. He limped a bit when he walked but he should be fine, him and Molly Faye decided that it would be time for them to head home. As time went on Bro and Molly became closer. Barolo started to feel better about himself. This little nerdy girl became his life. But he couldn't help but still love Flamingo, he would watch her from affar. This made things difficult for him and he couldn't help the fact that he pretended Faye was Flamingo sometimes.
Bro and Molly Faye became mates only to soon realize that Barolo and his master would be moving in a few months. This put pressure on the young male and lead to many sleepless nights and stupid mistakes. Barolo wanted to be a father and he wanted Flamingo to be the mother. He and Flamingo secretly started a family. By the time Flamingo had pups Brarolo was already on a bush plane that would take him out of Alaska. Molly never knew of this meeting and she sobbed herself to sleep for many nights missing her love, only to realize that she too was pregnant.
When Barolo reached Canada he was forlorn and terrified. His master wasn't able to keep his home and had to move back to Canada with his parents. Once Barolo was settled in on the farm of his master's parents, he learned of the other farm dogs. Barolo was introduced to each of them their names were Ratchet, Locke, Arriba, Philly, and Rainy. Arriba was a strong minded girl and tried to get Barolo to spend most of his time with her. He instantly picked up on her flirting and regected her curtly. Arriba ever since was bitter towards Barolo.
It was hard enough for Barolo to fit into the small herding dog family, it seemed that Locke was the only kind one to him. Rainy would also be nice but Barolo couldnt trust him with all his laughing and snickering. Barolo was basically trapped on the farm, he never went to town and was often put to work during the day. Apart from visits from the neighbor's hunting dogs, Barolo was used to seeing the same annoying faces eveyday.
Until she came in from the city. Barolo's master's sister had returned home as well bringing her posh dog Dove with her. She was mainly white with dark spots and a few other various markings.
He found himself attracted to her physically but he cant stand being with her more than a few hours. The two are always found bickering and then laughing 5 minutes later. Dove knows that Barolo has secrets and is slightly attracted by the fact. Barolo's people skills (canine skills) though are questionable to her and when she first met him he was a bitter grump that would put her down any chance he got. Dove can read Barolo like a book and part of her hopes that he will make a move. The breathe taking, mysterious, counrty bad boy, makes Dove quiver with excitement. And in a way they are perfect for eachother, too bad Barolo's past is tainted with mistakes.

-Barolo's wolf herritage entices Dove and he almost acts predatory around her
