"Dre's Circuit": Final Level
In the community there are rampant wars and fights between families and gangs--both human and dog.
Many canines are bred, bought, and groomed purely for the sake of the sport, but of course there are unfortunate dogs herded into fighting against their knowledge or will, and they carry out their sentence even to the death.
Still, there are other dogs--free dogs--who organize the sport among their own kind; when dogs take the fighting into their own paws, usually a sexual, territorial, or material reward is gambled, sometimes by willing opponents, and other times by dogs forced by their peers.
-
Adrenaline is the current "boss", or "Don", concerning this sport among fellow canines, narrowly usurping full power after the disappearance of his partner Roulette.
Although Dre is not concerned with every puny dog spat in his realm, he certainly has dominion over the execution of the big fights with the highest stakes--cases which usually cycle throughout the lower rings until eventually ending up in the final circuit(Dre's).
Fights in this level can be used as a type of champion-level competition (usually to the death) for the stakes of being named the new "reigning champ". Important political and territorial disputes are also settled in fights on this level.
Dre's clients range from the very wealthy prime fighters to rival gangs disputing females. The rules of fighting dirty are not enforced, but the central "unwavering" law of this ring is maintained fiercely by Dre's guard and his personal menagerie of champions.
Unwavering Rules:
1. One on one fights. No exceptions.
(lower-levels allow multi-fighter matches. Dre's is mostly serious business.)
2. If you can't pay your price, you pay with your life.
(often defeated dogs/groups will attempt to run off without paying their opponents, or for any reason loose their promised debt. The penalty is always swift death of any guilty party, often allowed at the hands of the slighted dog or group.)
3. No such thing as an "unequal" match.
(female, old, puppy, blind, even crippled--if you enter the ring, you leave either as the victor or as a carcass.)
Famous Matches:
Shila taking on Roulette; ending up killing him and claiming a spot as a champion.
*This circuit affiliates with Gargoyle's ring, which operates at a lower level. Dre and Gargoyle don't get along, but interact civilly out of necessity due to their powerful positions in their respective rings.
