Personality: Miss Nituna is usually very soft-spoken, stiffly cordial, and unwaveringly lady-like, unless angered--then Nuna becomes a hellish, loud force to be reckoned with. Nuna dislikes to loose her temper, as she aspires to be a perfect lady and live up to her human family's standards. She will be genial and polite to even the most brutish dogs, and keeps her fake-warm smile always on, even in the face of extreme impropriety on the part of her guests. Generally, only her rowdy siblings can still get far enough under Nuna's skin to make her drop her refined mask and snap at them.
History:
Nituna's parents were fond of all their children, Nuna not being an exception. The family was very homey and down-to-earth, but Nuna always had a flair of finesse and maturity about her, even as a pup, and would refuse to rough-house with her siblings.
Luckily for Nuna, a rich family was struck by her looks while they were touring the farm she and her mother, Colette, lived on, and saved her from the chaos of her family. Nuna was bought as a trifle for the people's youngest son, but, as he lost interest in her, Nuna became the favorite of their daughter instead, who spoiled and pampered her to no end.
Nuna's family was situated in the wealthier part of town, but at its outskirts, and so lived across the way from an upper-middle-class family, which owned a family of dogs. Nuna met one of the younger females in particular who Nuna's age: Sparks. Though originally Nuna had no interest whatsoever in being acquainted with the "lower" dog, she--Sparks--seemed to want to get to know Nuna, and constantly "ran into her". As polite as Nuna was, she would never out-and-out snub another animal, and so she ended up cordially talking to Sparks whenever she bumped into her, which, thanks to Sparks's efforts, was often.
It soon occurred to Nuna that Sparks had also become friends with Nuna's least-favorite brother, Ruven. He and Sparks would tease her often, but Nuna was unfailingly polite and level-headed, and said nothing, only turning away. With Sparks more or less out of the picture with her brother, Nuna turned her bored thoughts to several males. She dated a town "heart-throb"--Skylar--for a breif period, but he was known for his flightiness, and the relationship quickly fizzled(though they are still close friends). She then noticed a male who had shown interest in her before--a well-kept gentleman named Erion.
Nuna was quite taken with him, and the two started to date; In Nuna's eyes, they were the "ideal pair". However, for some reason unknown to Nuna, Erion's presence as her boyfriend brought back the attentions of Ruven and Sparks with a vengeance--whenever possible, Ruven and the creme pit bull mix would separate Nuna from Erion, with Sparks suavely stealing Nituna away and Ruven saddling Erion with a troublesome older male, a shameless pervert named Ian, who had a penchant for pretty younger males.
This behavior infuriates Nuna, but she and Erion are powerless to stop it. Usually when they see Sparks, Ruven, or Ian, the couple turns tails back into their safe, secure houses to wait out the storm.
Other: Nuna will wear a host of accessories, though generally her young owner, not fond of letting Nuna outside at all, sees no point in her doing so.
